We are happy to discuss a new topic, as long as it is explained in detail and is useful for our target audience.

We accept only long form content – that means 1000 words and above (ideally 1500 words+).

Even if you’re covering a simple topic, we suggest you imagine creating it for someone who has never heard of the industry or the topic before.
We’d rather you treat one topic thoroughly than cover five things in a shallow manner. As a general rule, the content should be:

• Actionable
• In-depth
• Easy to read

All content needs to be 100% original. If the content you submit is plagiarised, it will not run.

Below are a few content and writing guidelines we want you to adhere to:

1. Write conversationally, and as you speak. It is an article in your name and should reflect your personality. Have some fun with it, but remain professional.
2. We use British English on all our websites. Differences include ‘colour’ instead of ‘color’, ‘centre’ instead of ‘center’ and so on.
3. Any study/data mentioned must be cited and linked to their web sources.
4. Make it easy for readers by implementing a strong structure (H2s needed for sub-heads and H3s for lesser headers).
5. Introduction and conclusion need a little extra love. They’re the hook and CTA, so make sure they’re compelling.

For images, simply upload to Google Drive and share the public link. Please also ensure images are centered as doing so helps break up the text a little more for quick reading.

Once you’ve filled out the form, our team will be in touch to either move forward with this or to let you know why we cannot accept the article. If your topic suggestion matches our criteria:

• We’ll share an outline before you write out the full thing.
• We would then require the article to be shared as a Google Doc and with editing permissions to our content team.
• Lastly, we’ll run through the article and offer suggestions for edits. If there are any you disagree with or think are incorrect, you can always leave a comment in the Google Doc for us.

Please note that most of our suggestions are focused on content and message (rather than style) to ensure the information is correct and in line with other Moobicast’s materials. We also might make some suggestions to align it better with our tone and audience. Very rarely will we make style suggestions as this is a piece in your name.
